OUR STORY

Silverberry trees are prominent in the Mediterranean lands in which we grew up, and it is these lands that also influence our food.

Our childhood home was surrounded by a garden bordered with Silverberry trees. These have been used to mark the borders of agricultural lands and the gardens of our homes for decades.

The Silverberry tree is well known for its hardy character and although it does not require much care, it provides an abundance of silverberries every year. New branches are silvery in colour, turning a reddish brown as it matures, just like its fruits.

The heady smell of Silverberry blossoms reminds us that summer days are near, and of relaxed family dinners; lazy Sunday breakfasts eaten ‘al fresco’; and the warm feelings you only get by spending time with those you love…

Silverberry feels like home to us and we would truly love all our customers to feel the same way.
